The Story of
"Nasi Lemak Tudong Saji"

It all began in a small village when a mother named Puan Kauju and her children started selling nasi lemak in front of their home every morning. Each tray of nasi lemak was covered with a woven rattan food cover (tudong saji) to keep it warm and preserve its consistent, satisfying taste. When customers arrived, the dish was uncovered straight from beneath the tudong saji still steaming, warm and inviting. That's how the name Nasi Lemak Tudong Saji came to be, a symbol of sincere, full flavoured traditional village cooking.
